Classes are over and finals are complete, which means that college students throughout the country are out of school for the summer. This past academic year seemed like it took forever, as do most academic years. Some college students will go back home to work full time or part time to try to save money for the upcoming academic year. There are those students who will intern either at a company near their home or near their college campus so they can gain knowledge and experience in their field of choice. Summer school is on the schedule for college students trying to take on extra credits or for students who need to retake classes.

Then there are those students who will do more exciting things such as travel through Europe. Some even will do internships abroad. Students with a sense of adventure actually will go back to summer camp – to work as counselors. Surely there are those students who simply will take it easy and hit the beaches.

Whatever it is, most college students will try to avoid thinking about school. They want to shed their books and thoughts of exams and make the most of the couple months of freedom they have before the fall semester begins.
